Heirloom Peach Parsi Gara Saree- Crepe silk

A pure crepe silk saree in peach shade carrying multicolour Parsi Gara embroidery worked entirely by hand. The motifs are floral, drawn from a craft tradition once reserved for Parsi trousseaus and passed down through generations of embroiderers along India's western coast.

Every thread on this saree traces back to a technique that nearly disappeared as fashion moved away from handwork in the decades after the 1980s. What survives today is rare, and each piece carries the imprint of the artisan who made it, no two are ever quite the same.

The saree is finished with careful attention to facings and edges, and comes with a matching one-metre unstitched blouse piece, its sleeve ends finished in the same Parsi Gara embroidery.
