Hand Crafted Parsi Gara Mukaish Dupatta/Running Fabric

This dupatta is worked in pure georgette, kept in its natural ivory tone. The embroidery covers the full length in floral motifs, done by hand in the Parsi Gara technique, which is worked stitch by stitch rather than in a repeated pattern. Mukaish work in gold runs along the sides, adding a fine metallic detail without covering the surface completely.

Georgette is sheer and lightweight, so the fabric drapes softly and lets the embroidery sit close to the surface instead of adding weight or stiffness to it.
