Bird Motif Parsi Gara Hand Embroidered Dupatta

A pure georgette dupatta in soft lavender, bordered with hand embroidered Parsi Gara work and finished with small sprinkled motifs through the body. Parsi Gara is often called painting in thread, a technique brought to India through centuries of trade between Chinese artisans and Parsi families, now carried forward by a small number of karigars.

The embroidery here takes its cues from nature, floral sprays and birds worked in multicolour thread against the lavender base. Each motif is placed by hand, so no two dupattas carry the embroidery in quite the same way.

This is pure georgette border work dupatta with small sprinkled motifs all over.
